Read how MediaTrack handles account information, private watch history, third-party metadata, analytics, exports, and account deletion.

MediaTrack stores the account information needed to sign you in, along with profile settings, library entries, progress, scores, tags, favorites, notes, notification preferences, and invite records. Password authentication is handled by the application’s authentication system; plaintext passwords are not stored.
Libraries, progress, ratings, and notes are available only after authentication. MediaTrack does not provide public profiles, follower counts, or public library pages. An invitation grants access to create an account, not access to another member’s library.
MediaTrack requests catalog and release metadata from MyAnimeList, Jikan, and TMDB. These providers supply information about titles; your private notes and ratings are not published to their catalogs by MediaTrack.
The public website uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure visits and technical performance. Vercel may process limited device, page, and network information to provide those measurements.
If you connect Discord notifications, MediaTrack stores the configuration needed to deliver the alerts you request. Notification content may include title and release information and is sent to the Discord destination you configure.
You can export your library as JSON or CSV from MediaTrack. To request account deletion or ask a privacy question, contact the MediaTrack administrator who provided your invitation.
